1st Macross Series Streaming with English Dub on Hulu - Anime News[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, the first entry in the Macross science-fiction romance anime franchise, is now streaming for free with ADV Films' English dubbing on the Hulu website. With its transforming robotic mecha, love triangles, and interstellar war, the 1982-1983 television anime series spawned a string of anime projects that continues to this day with the Macross Frontier television series and films. (Other projects include The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? film and Macross Plus.) The first 36-episode Macross series also formed the largest and most popular segment of Robotech, Harmony Gold's edited and rewritten adaptation of three separate anime science-fiction series.
(Coincidentally, February 11, 2010 is the date within the Macross storyline of the final battle of Space War I, the main war depicted in the first Macross series.)
