AIC to Replace Gonzo on 2nd Strike Witches Season (Updated) - Anime News
Most of the main staff will tentatively return from the first season, including director and anime character designer Kazuhiro Takamura, the series script supervisor "Striker Unit," and Takaaki Suzuki (the staffer who helps develop the setting of the story's world and military matters).
The North American anime distributor Funimation announced in April that it acquired the rights to release the first Strike Witches television anime season. Crunchyroll and BOST TV had streamed the first anime season when it premiered in Japan last year.
Update: The copyright notice for the new season is "© 2007-2009 Humikane Shimada/Kadokawa Shoten/Gonzo/501st Joint Fighter Wing."
