Studio Pierrot Animates Julia Vuori’s Sika - Anime News
The veteran anime production house Studio Pierrot (Bleach, Naruto, Fushigi Yuugi) has created four animated shorts based on the Sika (Pig) children’s books by Finnish author Julia Vuori. However, the anime shorts are only available on a microSD memory card sold at the Eki museum in Kyoto from August 12 to 26 during the museum’s “Julia Vuori Picture Book Original Drawing Exhibition.” Furthermore, the commemorative memory cards can only be played on cel phones from the Softbank mobile service provider.
The Sika picture books depict the everyday life of a modern woman caricatured as a pig.
