Bones Makes Star Driver Kagayaki no Takuto Robot Anime (Updated) - Anime News
The July issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine is announcing an original robot anime project called Star Driver Kagayaki no Takuto (Star Driver: Radiant Takuto). More information about the anime will be in the Newtype issue, which officially ships on Thursday.
Update: The domain star-driver.net has been registered by Aniplex.
Takuya Igarashi (Soul Eater) is directing the project at the anime studio BONES, and Yoji Enokido (Revolutionary Girl Utena) is writing the scripts. Misa and Hiroka Mizuya are collaborating on the original character designs, and Yoshiyuki Ito (Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater) is adapting the designs for animation and overseeing the animation. Satoru Kousaki (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Bakemonogatari) is scoring the music.
The anime centers around a boy named Takuto who pilots a robot named Taubaan.
