Durarara!!, Vampire Knight, Eden of the East, More Licensed in U.K. - Anime News

The British anime distributors Beez Entertainment, MVM Entertainment, and Manga Entertainment announced their new licenses at London MCM Expo's anime industry panel on Saturday.

Beez Entertainment, the British video arm of the Namco Bandai Group, announced that it will release Durarara!!, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Season 2, and the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation movie compilation trilogy. Durarara!! will be the first title that Beez will be releasing with English subtitles only. The company revealed that it has one more subtitle-only release in the works, and will consider a future dub release for those titles if one becomes available. Beez is also adding Outlaw Star to its Anime Legends line.

Manga Entertainment announced (http://twitter.com/mangauk) at the panel that it has licensed the Vampire Knight anime series, and will release one DVD each month starting in October. The company also announced that it would release the Eden of The East television series on both DVD and Blu-ray Disc in a two-disc set in November, as well as the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society film on Blu-ray before Christmas. Manga further announced that it has licensed the Baccano! anime series. Manga Entertainment noted at the panel that it is interested in setting up an anime streaming website for UK fans.

MVM Entertainment confirmed that it will be releasing Blade of the Immortal, Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit, Slayers Revolution, and Slayers Evolution-R. MVM has also told ANN that Rozen Maiden - Träumend will be released in July, and Pet Shop of Horrors will be released in August. Solty Rei, Samurai Deeper Kyo and Aquarion will be getting box set releases for the first time. MVM also announced at the London MCM Expo that it will move away from single-disc releases.
