Eva's Sadamoto to Draw Archaic Smile Short Story - Anime News
2-issue manga from husband/wife team to start in Comic Charge later in May
Evangelion manga artist and character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and his manga creator wife Mako Takaha will release a two-installment manga called Archaic Smile in Kadokawa Shoten's Comic Charge magazine this month. The announcement was made in the tenth issue, which went on sale on May 7, and the story will run in the next two biweekly issues. The advertisement describes the story as a "warm, comforting romantic comedy" revolving around a couple and a Buddha statue. Sadamoto is still drawing the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga in Kadokawa's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine.
