Faust Editor: ufotable, Artist TAKE Involved in Project - Anime News
Katsushi Ota, the editor of Kodansha's literary magazine Faust, has revealed on his Twitter account on Sunday that the anime studio ufotable (Manabi Straight!, Kara no Kyoukai) and illustrator TAKE (NisiOisin's Zaregoto, Katanagatari light novels) are collaborating on a project. Ota said that ufotable already provided a rough cut of the footage from the project, but he has not revealed the nature or format of the project. He did say that it might "turn into his most wonderful project so far."
The project will be unveiled on September 22 on the Sai-zen-sen website; Sai-zen-sen is a new site for creative talent from a company called Seikaisha (Star Seas Company), which was established this year. Ota indicated that more details will be provided on September 14, when the Sai-zen-sen website will pre-open.
The website of ufotable has been slowly revealing the "10 Biggest Announcements of ufotable 2010." The latest announcement was the fifth one on Saturday, when ufotable announced that an anime adaptation of Mikage Chihaya's Minori Scramble! manga has been green-lit. The website will reveal the sixth and seventh announcements on September 16 and 24, respectively.
