Fortune Arterial Manga to Bundle Original Anime DVD - Anime News

The official website of the game-based Fortune Arterial anime has opened on Monday, and it has announced that the sixth volume of Miki Kodama's manga version will bundle an original anime DVD. The sibling publishers Kadokawa Shoten and Kadokawa Group Publishing are accepting pre-orders until December 27 for the February 2011 release of the limited-edition bundle.

The all-new episode on the original anime DVD will commemorate the previously announced television anime adaptation of August's Fortune Arterial adult romance adventure game. The manga has been running in Kadokawa Shoten's COMPTIQ magazine since 2008, and the television anime, Fortune Arterial: Akai Yakusoku, will premiere in October. The musical artist Lia is performing the opening theme song for Fortune Arterial: Akai Yakusoku.

The story revolves around Kohei Hasekura, a student who is transferring between schools for the 10th time. He discovers that his new remote island school, Shuchikan Academy, has a female vampire named Erika Sendo within its student body.
