The 2003-2004 Chrono Crusade television anime was based on Daisuke Moriyama's 1998-2004 supernatural action manga which was published in Fujimi Shobo's Monthly Comic Dragon and Monthly Dragon Age magazines in Japan. ADV Manga released the manga in North America. The anime spans 24 episodes.
Gantz is a 26-episode 2004 adaptation of Hiroya Oku's science-fiction thriller manga about two high school-age boys who seem to die, only to resurrect in order to play a deadly game. Dark Horse has released 11 volumes of the ongoing manga, and a pair of live-action Japanese films based on the series are currently in production.
Kaleido Star is an original 2003-2004 Gonzo series about a young woman training to be an acrobat. The 51-episode television series spawned three OVA projects — the last of which was released in 2006. Funimation has not specified how much of the anime franchise it has licensed.
