Synopsis:
It’s all about phantom cats. Picture these cats kind of like ghosts with the ability to meld with any type of electric appliance. These cats have all kinds of evil deeds their organization wishes to carry out in their conquest of Japan. The good guys (And actually mainly gals) of Kagura Total Security are freelance phantom cat hunters, and for a “nominal” fee they will rid you of your phantom cat problems. Plenty of action, and your solo male character surrounded by multiple females whom each have their own wacky personality. Think of an animated take on Ghostbusters, and you’ve got Geobreeders.
Review:
Boy, this show looks good. And the colors are crazy. The Leader w/ her SHOCKING Red hair, and the other team member with her bright violet purple hair are just crazy to look at. Very cool. The story really moves along as well. Expect lots of stuff blowing up, and all-out craziness. I have been following the comic for Geobreeders, and that has made it much easier for me to read into the background story, which will come across to most people as fairly confusing. I can see where they would be coming from. But if you look past all the secrecy of the storyline, and simply enjoy the crazy antics, you can still enjoy the show.
Grade: B - Worth a watch.
