Gundam SEED CE73 Stargazer - STAGE III - Anime Review

Anime Review

Continuing from episode 2, an attack is launched to destroy the Stargazer Gundam.

We are previewed to Sven and Sham in their mobile suits approaching the space station, with some gundams supporting them. There is a lot of action in the next 5 minutes. Sham is llike a cannon overcharged and is having a very good time.

Selene gets into the Stargazer gundam with a pilot to fight back, and defend themselves. How the attack begins inside the space station is quite interesting as, I believe their are a few moles in the space station project, as some people with the same uniform shoot some of their own.

The action returns back into space with Sham and Sven taking out some DSSD mobile suits. The Verda Buster has just taken out half of the space station. During this time the stargazer gundam is locked into combat with the strike noir gundam.

Sham does not listen to his CIC operator, and runs out of energy in his gundam. Sham is then surrounded by the DSSD mobile suits and is destroyed.

Selene ejects his follow pilot, and tangles with the strike noir gundam, in which both gundams cannot use their weapons. Selene then calls the operator at the DSSD space station to shot both gundams. The invading battle crusier is then destoyed by the satillete laser.

Selene and Sven both survive the blast and rescues Sven from the strike noir. They decide to use medicine to put themselves to sleep, so that they can survive on their existing oxygen for 27 days. We are then treated to some of Sven's childhood memories.

669 hours later, Sol finds the pair, but they don’t respond to him and that ends the episode. Incidentally, 669 Hours = 27 Days and 21 Hours.

Anyway the Stargazer gundam is just great , and maybe with some better armaments it can defeat strike Freedom(?).

Grade (B) - For the ending i think it suits the series, and its simply better than Gundam Seed Destiny.
