Marie & Gali Gets New Ver. 2.0 TV Anime Green-Lit - Anime News

The official website of Toei Animation's Marie & Gali project has announced on Friday that a new television anime, Marie & Gali ver. 2.0, has been green-lit. The title characters Marika (a middle school girl dressed in Gothic Lolita fashion) and Galileo (a middle-aged scientist) introduce scientific concepts to junior high and high school students with gag humor, music, and dancing. Marie & Gali ver. 2.0 will introduce a new character named Norika.

The first Marie & Gali series of five-minute shorts debuted on the NHK-Educational public television channel last March. NHK-Educational will air the 40th and final episode of the first series, "Saishukai Nan Desu Kedo," on Tuesday.
