Megumi Nakajima to Voice Next Vocaloid Virtual Idol - Anime News

The advertisement for "The Vocaloid CV03 Megurine Luka" supplemental issue of DTM Magazine has revealed that the next singer to lend his or her voice to the Vocaloid vocal song synthesizer will be Megumi Nakajima. Nakajima is best known for voicing the singer character Ranka Lee in the recent Macross Frontier sequel to the Macross science-fiction romance franchise. SSW's Internet software company developed a separate line of Vocaloid software from the more famous Character Vocal Series from Crypton Future Media, the creators of the breakthrough hit characters Hatsune Miku. YAMAHA developed the Vocaloid software engines used by both companies.

The first Vocaloid release from SSW's Internet featured the musician and occasional anime voice actor Gackt. "The Vocaloid CV03 Megurine Luka" supplemental issue will include interviews with Nakajima and a company representative.
