Sonishi's Inu-Gaisha Manga Adapted into Flash Anime - Anime News

The Japanese publisher Takeshobo began posting a Flash-animated adaptation of Kenji Sonishi's Inu-Gaisha manga online on May 9. This popular four-panel manga from the creator of Neko Rahmen depicted a typical workplace comedy — except the employees happened to be anthropomorphized dogs. The indeprox video production unit and Reion, Inc. developed the animation project with Production baobab providing the voices.

The Inu-Gaisha manga ran in Takeshobo's Monthly Manga Club magazine and was already adapted into a live-action series with real dogs in 2007. The first compiled volume of the manga is shipping on Saturday in Japan, and two DVD volumes of the live-action version shipped in March. Vuze, a company founded by some of the developers of the third-party BitTorrent client Azureus, is offering English-subtitled episodes of the Neko Rahmen television anime series in free, official downloads.
