Sunrise, Dengeki G's Love Live Project Gets Anime DVD - Anime News
The August issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that the Love Live! idol project is launching with a debut CD single and animation DVD in August.
For this school idol project, the magazine is collaborating with the anime studio Sunrise and Bandai Visual's music label subsidiary Lantis. As a self-described "ultimate user-participation project," Love Live! will let its fans vote on the future of the idol characters. Online mobile phone polls will determine different aspects of the idols, such as hairstyles and costumes.
The CD/DVD bundle will ship on August 25, but advance copies will be sold at Tokyo's Comic Market 78 event from August 13 to August 15. A short version of the debut single release will be streamed from the Lantis Channel on the YouTube and Nico Nico Douga websites in the middle of July.
